Supporting Local Organizations Through Volunteerism
The Z-Team is passionate about serving our communities through hands-on volunteer work. We partner with local nonprofit organizations that provide food, shelter, safety, and support to families throughout Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus.

We love being part of the communities we serve. Throughout the year, the Ziehler team participates in local events that bring neighbors, families, and organizations together. From community celebrations to family-friendly events like Touch-A-Truck, we enjoy creating opportunities to connect with our customers and neighbors beyond lawn care.
Front Porch Food Pickup Program
Make a Difference with Us Through Porch Pick-Up Food Donations
We’ve partnered with local food banks, including The Foodbank and Shared Harvest, to help keep local pantries stocked year-round. While many food drives take place around the holidays, food banks experience a need for donations throughout the year. Since our lawn care season aligns with some of their greatest needs, we launched the Front Porch Food Pickup Program.
Our customers can participate by leaving non-perishable food items on their front porch by 8 AM on the morning of their scheduled Ziehler service. When we service their property, our team collects the donations and delivers them to our food bank partners.

Pounds of Food Donated
Thanks to the generosity of Ziehler customers, we've donated more than 2,200 pounds of food to local families since 2018 through our Front Porch Food Pickup Program.
Project Evergreen
Through this military aid program, we provide free lawn and yard care services to military families whose active duty member is serving overseas.
